Have you admired the reflection of Thompson Hall from the Hammond Hall Plaza and noticed some greenery in the third floor windows? The plants are the result of a Student Affairs retreat program that was held in May. All offices under the Student Affairs umbrella decorated a pot for another office and then planted a random mix of wildflowers. Counseling Services are the caretakers because of the amazing window space.

Around Campus - Football Team Morning Meeting

Falcon Express One-Stop Event

Yesterday evening, President Donna Hodge and campus leaders from student services across campus welcomed students and families to our third and final Falcon Express One-Stop event in the Hammond Hall Main Lounge. The goal of this event is to provide students with all the resources they need to answer any final questions they may have, and allow students to enroll in their academic coursework with no delays!

Summer Institute for Journalism Education - Fitchburg Access television (FATV)

Our Summer Institute for Journalism Education, a collaboration between our Communications Media and English Studies departments, is an inaugural program and is focused on the theme of "Teaching Tomorrow’s Citizens Today: News Literacy as a Tool for Critical Education." 

This institute is a wonderful opportunity to develop key concepts in your research, apply new lessons to the classroom, and address educators across the Commonwealth and beyond about issues facing journalism, news literacy, and new media technologies.

Summer Orientation 2024 - Final Session

This final orientation session gave our newest Falcons, unable to attend previous dates, the opportunity to get schedule information, learn about on-campus opportunities, a chance to connect with faculty, staff and each other, and more. President Donna Hodge, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Patricia Marshall, and Vice President for Student Affairs Laura Bayless welcomed students and their guests this morning in the Hammond Main Lounge. Afterward, our Orientation Leaders lead the students to the quad for some ice breaker activities.

Housing and Residential Services presents: First Look Friday
