Career Services - Revamp your Resume, Refine Your Look

Yesterday afternoon our Career Services and Advising Center offered students the opportunity to meet with recruiters from Enterprise Mobility and the Massachusetts Department of Corrections to review their resume and get feedback. They could also “shop” the Career Closet for a free Career Fair outfit and learn more about the employers coming to campus for the Business and Technology Career Fair on March 25 and the Creative and Common Good Fair on April 1.

Health and Life Sciences Career Fair 2025

Yesterday afternoon, the university's Career Services and Advising Center sponsored a Health Sciences career fair in the Hammond Main Lounge. The program was open to all students in all majors, with a focus on positions in; nursingbiologychemistry, and exercise and sports science.

Law Enforcement Reverse Career Fair

Fitchburg State University Police Program  Police Academy Director Alexandra Wysocki welcomed representatives from over a dozen law enforcement agencies to the Hammond Main Lounge yesterday afternoon for the  Career Services and Advising Center's Law Enforcement Reverse Career Fair. A reverse career fair flips the table, students stationed at tables get a chance to pitch themselves to employers, who in turn get quality one-on-one time with job seekers.

Law Enforcement Reverse Career Fair Preparation

At the request of Police Academy Director Alexandra Wysocki, the  Career Services and Advising Center held a preparation session for their upcoming Law Enforcement Reverse Career Fair for students in our Fitchburg State University Police Program. Students were given tips on how to conduct themselves, write up an "elevator pitch", and practice those pitches with Career Services and Advising Center staff and Director Wysocki.

CSA: Major and Minor Discovery Fair

This afternoon, the Fitchburg State University Career Services and Advising Center sponsored a Campus Wide Career Fair in the Hammond Main Lounge. This gave students an opportunity to explore a diverse range of majors and minors for every interest. Students were able to engage with faculty members and current students who shared their experiences and insights, offering a deeper understanding of each program's unique offerings, career prospects, and real-world applications.
