Late last month, the university hosted the concluding session of the NASPA (National Association of Student Personnel Administrators) Region I New Professionals Mentoring Institute, which is a cohort-based development program for early-career student affairs professionals. Associate Dean for Student Support Services Robert Hynes kicked off Fitchburg State University’s annual Wellness Fair, a vibrant event dedicated to student well-being. Hosted by Counseling Services and campus partners, the fair offered students a chance to recharge with therapy dogs, interactive activities, and essential wellness resources. President Donna Hodge addressed the gathering, emphasizing the university's commitment to self-care and highlighting the comprehensive support network available to the entire campus community.

Yesterday afternoon, the Fitchburg Activities Board (FAB) hosted a a welcome-back to campus Coffeehouse Event Event in the Falcon Hub in the Hammond Building. With finals right around the corner. FAB gave students the opportunity to gather, play games, enjoy a snack, coffee, or a dirty soda all while enjoying a performance by Indie singer-songwriter Meggie.
Yesterday afternoon, Student Engagement held its annual Rock the Hall in Hammond Hall. Rock the Hall gives students the opportunity to connect with student Clubs and Organizations here on campus.
This afternoon, Fitchburg State University Military and Veteran Services Director Nolan Buck hosted an Open House/Meet and Greet event in our Veteran Center. This gave our veteran students the opportunity to gather for coffee, a snack & camaraderie. In addition, these students had the chance to discuss the unique concerns of veteran students.

Associate Director of Student Engagement and Campus Center Angelo M. This gave an opportunity to share some last minute information, and Fitchburg State swag. In addition, the day coincided wit our Falcon Assist Week to make sure all questions were answered before their departure.

Counseling Services hosted a Finals Frenzy event giving out ice cream sundaes in G-Lobby in the Hammond building. In addition to the ice cream, Graduate Intern Peter Kaiser showed off his prestidigitation skills. Counseling Services strives to provide an inclusive space that honors the strengths, lived experience, and uniqueness of each individual. Our counselors provide services focused on wellness, growth, and self advocacy, in order to enhance your success at the university and in the larger community.
