Today Fitchburg State University hosted 39 school counselors from the Boston Advising Corps. This group of counselors work with students in high schools in and around the Boston area. They learned about admissions, financial aid, and student success at the university from a co-curricular panel during their visit.

During our Young Falcons Academy week, where students from Fitchburg's public schools partake in a week full of activities on campus, the Young Falcons were lead by Asst. Professor Jonathan Harvey in the Fitchburg State University Alma Mater.
Student Development held a Psychic Fair on the Street Level of the Hammond Building yesterday afternoon. Students were able to make their own spell jar, have their auras read, get a Tarot card reading, and more!

The program was open to all students in all majors, with a focus on positions in architecture; construction management; electronics engineering technology; energy management engineering technology; manufacturing engineering technology; technology/engineering education 5-12 licensure; and technology/engineering education industry training.

An all day event sponsored by Career Services and Commuter Affairs, the first 100 Commuters to receive a gift. In addition, ASCEND Get Lifted will be selling crystals and more by the Information Desk. Later today, there will be Tarot Card Readings, DIY Spirit Jars, and Aura Readings in the Falcon Hub on Street Level of the Hammond Building.

This workshop-oriented course utilizes the basis techniques of movement with emphasis on developing each student's potential for effective physicalization of a character on stage.
In a laboratory situation, this class is a hands-on production class. It provides the student with practical applications for building techniques, lighting, make-up, sound, props and other production needs for a realized production. This production work is possible through the Main Stage Theatre productions, student works, as well as film and video applications. Work done in this class can be used for the student's portfolio as well.
