This panel also celebrated the birthday of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a lawyer, associate justice of the United States Supreme Court, and a mother who spent a lifetime flourishing in the face of adversity. It has been about 20 years since Pi Day, March 14th, has fallen on a class day here at Fitchburg State! In celebration, the Mathematics Department is hosted a 3.14 mile run. At 9:30 Dr. Peter Staab, and others, braved the chilly temperatures for the 3.14 mile run. After some directions from Gerry Higdon, they were off.
Later today, at 1:59pm, there will be Pi(e) Eating and other activities on the quad side of Edgerly Hall. Yes, the time is intentional… Think about it.

Our Nursing Simulation Laboratory assists nursing students in learning critical thinking and clinical judgment skills in preparation for their healthcare careers. The “manikins” act as lifelike patient simulators, wherein instructors provide real-time feedback via a control center, giving students as close to a hospital scenario as possible.
