Around Campus - Film Styles Genres & Movements Class

In Professor Robert Harris' Film Styles Genres & Movements class, students experimented with creating an entire world using newspapers. While some students acted out scenes, others recorded the action by traditional and contemporary means; film and digital. Academic Coaching and Tutoring Center (ACT) visited the Gear Up Center at Fitchburg High School. Director of the ACT Center Kat McLellan, PhD, and Asst. Director of ACT were joined by Student Tutors Lia Reyes Jimenez, Olivia Willis, and Stephanie Amponmaah Boamah where they discuss future plans, college preparation, and the college experience with soon-to-be-graduates of Fitchburg High School. The Fitchburg State University Modern Jazz Band practicing in Weston Auditorium for tomorrow night's Music Mega-Mix. The performance will include instrumental and choral ensembles presenting a free concert at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, Tuesday, March 22 at Weston Auditorium, 353 North St. The Music Mega-Mix will showcase the Concert Band, Community Orchestra, Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, and Modern Jazz Band.
