As part of our Center for Diversity and Inclusiveness'  Women's History Month celebration the campus was urged to wear purple and commemorate international women’s day, and invited to stop by G-Lobby to learn a little, win a little, and grab a snack.

Yesterday, our Veteran Center held a Meet & Greet for our veteran students to gather for coffee & camaraderie, Fittingly this took place during  National Invest in Veterans Week which is all about extending a helping hand to those who've served, ensuring a smooth transition to civilian life with care and respect.

Commuter and Volunteer Affairs had the honorable title of Cake Cutter at the   Office of Student Development hosted Happy Leap Year Birthday Party - an event open to anyone as a way to say Happy Birthday to our Leap Year Community.

Yesterday afternoon, the always popular therapy dogs paid a visit to campus.  Students got a little break from classes, tests and projects by spending a little time with Daisy, and Mok in the Falcon Hub. These therapy dogs were a welcome respite from the stress that comes with the semester's workload. Keep your eyes on University Events for future visits.

Counseling Services held a Kabobs with Rob event in G-Lobby in the Hammond building yesterday afternoon. The event served as an opportunity for Director of Counseling Services Robert Hynes, Ph.D., LMHC to check in with students mid-way through the semester. Counseling Services strives to provide an inclusive space that honors the strengths, lived experience, and uniqueness of each individual. Our counselors provide services focused on wellness, growth, and self advocacy, in order to enhance your success at the university and in the larger community. 

Love was in the air in the Falcon Hub as Fitchburg Activities Board (FAB) held the  popular Stuff-A-Heart Pillow & Plant a Flower event.

Yesterday afternoon at the Hammond Hall Art Gallery, Artist Candice Ivy discussed her artistic process at the opening of her show “A Wide Golden Blue.” Ivy spoke of how the ever changing environment influences her work.

This morning, the Office of Student Development (OSD) staff invited everyone to "Stop by &  Spill the Tea" in S-Lobby of Hammond Hall. With chocolate fondue on hand, the theme was "What can we 'fondue' for you? Couldn't stop by? Connect with OSD  on their Facebook and Instagram accounts.

This afternoon, Student Development held Rock the Hall in Hammond Hall. Rock the Hall gives students a chance to connect with student Clubs and  Organizations here on campus.
