Last Day of Classes - Hot Dogs, Ice Cream & Lemonade

Suns out, buns out!  We celebrated the last day of classes yesterday the only way we know how—with our Annual Hot Dog Day on Hammond Plaza! Huge shoutout to the Office of Student Engagement for fueling our Falcons as they head into finals. Not to be outdone, Counseling Services offered ice cream sundaes, and the Office of Alumni and Development offered Add -Your-own -Flavors Lemonade.

University Hosts NASPA Region I New Professionals Mentoring Institute

Wellness Fair 2026

Associate Dean for Student Support Services Robert Hynes kicked off Fitchburg State University’s annual Wellness Fair, a vibrant event dedicated to student well-being. Hosted by   Counseling Services   and campus partners, the fair offered students a chance to recharge with therapy dogs, interactive activities, and essential wellness resources. President Donna Hodge addressed the gathering, emphasizing the university's commitment to self-care and highlighting the comprehensive support network available to the entire campus community.

Yesterday afternoon, the Fitchburg Activities Board (FAB) hosted a a welcome-back to campus Coffeehouse Event Event in the Falcon Hub in the Hammond Building. With finals right around the corner. FAB gave students the opportunity to gather, play games, enjoy a snack, coffee, or a dirty soda all while enjoying a performance by Indie singer-songwriter Meggie.
