Around Campus - Spring Week '22 Kickoff

The Fitchburg Activities Board (FAB) sponsored Spring Week kicked off yesterday with ice cream and inflatables on the quad. There is a week full of activities capped of by an 18+ Concert - SAGE the Gemini featuring Notebook P on Friday, April 29 at the Rec Center. Tickets are available to students, faculty, and staff with a OneCard.

Between the Stacks - Theatrical Performances April 24, 2022

Dance Club Spring Showcase - April 22, 2022

Fitchburg State University Chapter of Psi Chi Induction

Thursday, Psychological Science students were inducted into the Fitchburg State University Chapter of Psi Chi International Honor Society in Psychology in the Presidents Conference Room. Students must have least three semesters (45 credits) of college coursework, three semesters (45 credits) of college coursework, and least three courses (9 credits) in psychology at Fitchburg State University, including PSY 2100 Research Design and Analysis II. Students are eligible for induction if the following criteria are met:

Engineering Technology: Student Project Competition

The Engineering Technology Department's Engineering Students' Project Competition was held in the Conlon Engineering Technology Lobby. Students in the program presented their projects ranging from self-watering plants, mall ventilation, 3D printed robotics, to potential public safety threats within a smart building, and more.

Future Falcons Day - April 9, 2022

Future Falcons joined us at an admitted student open house to see what their life at Fitchburg State could be. The admitted students were able to attend information sessions and get an in depth look at their academic department, talk with current students, have financial aid questions answered, and more. The morning was capped off with the Future Falcon Day Celebration at our Recreation Center. After a welcome from President Richard Lapidus, Future Falcons, their families and guests, were able to mingle with a multitude of departments and student groups. Fitchburg State Holds Eighth Annual NCAHS Induction Ceremony

Fitchburg State University held its eighth annual National Collegiate Athlete Honor Society (NCAHS) induction ceremony on Monday, with 36 student-athletes being recognized for their academic achievements.

The National College Athlete Honor Society was founded at DePauw University in Greencastle, Ind. on May 17, 1996, as a student-athlete honor society for the recognition of high academic achievers and sport letter-winners as the collegiate level.

There are 269 chapters of the NCAHS, Chi Alpha Sigma across the country with Fitchburg State University designated as the Sigma Chapter of the Chi Alpha Sigma.

Career Services and Advising Center: Job and Internship Fair

Students had the opportunity to meet with employers from several different industries. Students, regardless of year of graduation, and alumni were strongly encouraged to attend and take this opportunity to connect employers looking to hire Fitchburg State University students.

ARTeries 2022, our juried student art exhibition of drawing, painting, sculpture & mixed-media art, held an opening reception yesterday afternoon in the Hammond Gallery. ARTeries is Fitchburg State University Art Department’s annual juried exhibition that showcases the strongest original student work in drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed-media art. ARTeries provides an opportunity for the university community to celebrate the artistic talents of Fitchburg State students.
