Earth and Geographic Sciences Professor Jane Huang works with Criminal Justice students in her GIS (Geographic Information System) for Criminal Justice course in the Antonucci Science Complex. The course introduces students to the theory and application of crime mapping and analysis in a GIS (Geographic Information System) environment. Students will learn the criminological theories that supports crime analysis and place-based policing. Students will also learn the basic skills of using GIS to create crime maps and to analyze crime patterns.

Students in Biology and Chemistry Professor Billy Samulak's Chemistry for Health Sciences Lab work on an assignment in the Antonucci Science Complex. This course is designed specifically for nursing and exercise sports majors and includes the study of selected topics from general chemistry, organic chemistry and biochemistry.

Students in Professor Michael S. McCutcheon's Criminal Investigation course got to try their hands at fingerprint collecting. After leaving their own fingerprints on various surface types, the students dusted, and lifted the prints using situation/surface specific methodologies. The course will enables the student to understand the fundamentals of the criminal investigation process. Students in Intro to Studio Art class took photos of their pottery pieces in the Conlon Fine Arts building. This course provides a hands-on introduction to drawing, painting, and sculpture. The course emphasizes the fundamentals of each studio discipline, and will also explore the expressive potential of visual art: how the various elements of drawing, painting, and sculpture can be used to embody very different feelings and ideas.
