Economics, History and Political Science Professor Katherine Jewell took advantage of the great weather and took her U.S. Economic History class to the Highland Plaza where each group debated a case in U.S. economics. This course takes a panoramic view of the economic history of the United States, surveying the course of U.S. history from the early European settlement of the 1600s and 1700s up until the contemporary age of globalization, all from the perspective of and with an emphasis upon the economic matters that informed that history.
