Fitchburg State University Police Program Recruit Officer Course (ROC) - Physical Training, Day 1

Today was the first day of Physical Training (PT) for the 6th   Fitchburg State University Police Program's   Recruit Officer Course (ROC). Lead PT instructor Eric Bailey introduced the class to the first phase of PT, along with PT instructors Dr. Jess Alsup and Dr. Lindsay Parisi of our Exercise Sports Science Program (EXSS) . We would like to thank State Representative Mike Kushmerek for coming out this morning to meet the 6th, where he offered some words of thanks & encouragement, as well as  participating side by side with them in the full PT session. Dean Sara Levine also stopped by the field to show support.

Police Program Academy Director Lisa Lane, Basic Training Division Manager Ron Paula of the Municipal Police Training Committee (MPTC) and Fitchburg State University Police Chief Michael Cloutier.

History & Political Science Students Honored

Yesterday afternoon, the Xi-Upsilon Chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the National History Honor Society, inducted three Fitchburg State University History students. Afterward this induction, the Political Science faculty and their honor society, the Alpha Delta Kappa Chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha, the National Political Science Honor Society inducted three Political Science students. Congratulations all!
