Fitchburg State University’s instrumental and choral ensembles performed a joint concert last evening in Weston Auditorium. Music Professor Justin Casinghino welcomed attendees to this concert program which serves as a showcase of “bite-sized” performances by the university’s choirs, bands and orchestra. Students in Edward Troxler's guitar course used today's class session to hold a final performance in the Conlon Fine Arts building. Students performed individual, duet, and ensemble selections. In this class, students learned the fundamentals of guitar playing including basic chords, scales, arpeggios and techniques for playing a variety of musical styles. Edward Troxler operates Eddy's Music located in Fitchburg, MA.
