The day will be capped off with a VIP Reception and a Jazz Concert featuring Neal Smith and all the students he's worked with through out the day. This afternoon, Dr. Jonathan Harvey, the Missa Brevis St. Joannis de Deo (Little Organ Mass), and the combined choirs of Fitchburg State Concert and Christ Church, performed The Heavens are Telling: The Music of Franz Joseph Haydn at the Christ Church, Fitchburg MA.

Dr. Jonathan Harvey held practice for the Fitchburg State Chamber Choir in Weston Auditorium. Music Program Professor Dr. Jonathan Harvey  welcomed the audience in the Kent Recital Hall to Women in the Arts, a continuation of our Women's History Month celebration. Music Professor Justin Casinghino works with students on their projects in his Intro to Music Technology course. This course focuses on acoustics, hardware operation, music theory, notation, and composition skills through instructional software and on creating, recording, and editing sounds with digital audio applications.
