Dance Club Spring Showcase 2026

 This weekend, the Fitchburg State University Dance Club held their annual Spring Showcase in Weston Auditorium. Each performance is choreographed by a member of the club, and the performances were spectacular!  One highlight of Friday night? An impromptu audience Macarena contest that proved our fans have moves too!

Fitchburg Activities Board (FAB) -Y2K "Slumber Party" Event

Women's History Month: Women Veteran Discussion Panel

Our Center for Diversity and Inclusiveness and Military and Veteran Services hosted a dynamic Women’s History Month panel honoring women veterans who share their stories of service, leadership, and resilience. Panelists reflected on their military experiences, the challenges they’ve navigated during and after service, and the lasting impact of women in the armed forces.

Club Collab! - Pie a PI or CASA Member

Biology Club & Nursing Blood Drive

Chartwells Dining - Teaching Kitchen; National Strawberry Day

It was a "berry" good day in G-Lobby! To celebrate National Strawberry Day,  Chartwells Dining  and the  Office of Student Engagement (OSE)  teamed up for a special Teaching Kitchen session. Students stopped by to fuel up on fresh strawberry smoothies and indulge in decadent strawberry chocolate fondue. The treats didn't stop there—attendees also entered for a chance to take the kitchen home with them, with a mini-blender and a mini chocolate dipping pot.

Student Press Freedom Day Event

Yesterday afternoon, in the Miller Oval, The Point student journalists and their supporters joined together for the ninth annual Student Press Freedom Day, a national moment to stand up for press freedom and recognize the essential role student journalists play in their communities. 

This year’s Student Press Freedom Day theme, Resilience in Action, celebrates the ways that student journalists pivot, push forward and raise their voices — even as censorship, intimidation and legal threats escalate.

Black History Month: Alumni Panel: Black Excellence, Sin Fronteras

Our Center for Diversity and Inclusiveness, along with the Black Student Union (BSU), THE Latin American Student Organization (LASO), and the Alumni and Giving Office  hosted a  an engaging panel this Black History Month featuring Fitchburg State alumni who shared their personal journeys, challenges, and triumphs during and after college. The audience heard inspiring stories, gained valuable insights, and engaged in meaningful conversation as we celebrated resilience, achievement, and community.
