This afternoon, our Caribbean Student Association hosted a PIE a CASA E-Board Member event today in G-Lobby of Hammond Hall. Proceeds are going towards their Grand Royal Soiree taking place April, 4.

The Fitchburg State University  Counseling Services team and other offices on campus throughout Hammond Hall held a Wellness Fair to celebrate the opening of their new wellness space on the second floor. Students got to visit therapy animals, do some wellness activities, get wellness related supplies, grab a snack, and more.

This afternoon, our Center for Diversity and Inclusiveness hosted a Flag Raising Ceremony in the Main Lounge of Hammond Hall to kick off  Women's History Month The 2025 Women’s History Month theme, Moving Forward Together! Women Educating and Inspiring Generations, highlights the profound impact of women who have dedicated their lives to education, mentorship, and leadership. See the full list of events here.

From Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) Make-Your-Own-Bouquet, to  Valentines Day wishes at Holmes Dining, to themed treats at Academic Coaching and Tutoring Center (ACT) and Trio, to Sigma Sigma Sigma Candygrams, and more, love is in the air on the Fitchburg State University campus this Valentines Day. The university's Biology Club recently held a Valentine Crafts session int e Antonucci Science Complex. 

Yesterday afternoon, the Craft Club hosted a bracelet making activity in the Hammond Main Lounge. After a quick lesson, attendees let their creativity run wild.

Yesterday afternoon, Student Development held its annual Rock the Hall in Hammond Hall. Rock the Hall gives students the opportunity to connect with student Clubs and  Organizations here on campus.

As today's Winter Orientation '25 wrapped up, and information sessions were over, our newest Falcons were address by Dean of Students Tim St. John. Dean St. John made sure all questions were answered, before their departure. In addition to that - and some swag - university offices and student groups were on hand to assist in answers. 

Part of the college experience is getting involved. We encourage our students to take advantage of the opportunities offered outside the classroom, whether you join a club, attend events, volunteer, or seek employment.

There are currently about 75+ active clubs and organizations on campus. They range from large, general organizations like the Student Government Association (SGA) and Fitchburg Activities Board (FAB), to smaller, more niche organizations like Quidditch club or Exercise and Sports Science club. Starting a new club is also always an option.
