We are excited to welcome our Incoming students for the first of three sessions of our Summer Orientation 2025 this morning. After checking in, our newest Falcons and their families made their way to Weston Auditorium where they received boisterous welcome remarks from Dean of Students Timothy St. John. Assistant Director of Student Development Angelo M. Prevosto introduced of our Orientation Leaders who will guide then off to a day full of information sessions and activities.

Our Office of Student Development Student Orientation Leaders played Omnikin Ball this afternoon as a team building exercise while they prepare for our Summer Orientation 2025 Sessions to welcome our newest Falcons beginning next week.

Our Office of Student Development Student Orientation Leaders came back to campus yesterday and will be preparing for our Summer Orientation 2025 Sessions for our newest Falcons. After moving in, and reconnecting over lunch, the Orientation Leaders began a week of training, including working on their S.M.A.R.T. Goals in the Hammond Hall Main Lounge.

Future Falcons joined us at an admitted student open house to see what their life at Fitchburg State could be. The day's program included campus tours, program-specific information sessions and a reception in the Athletics and Recreation Center. After President Donna Hodge welcomed everyone to the reception, Future Falcons, their families and guests, were able to mingle with a multitude of departments and student groups. The university offers a number of additional visit opportunities, from general tours to specific information sessions geared toward accepted students who are still making their academic decisions. With the summer program right around the corner, the Upward Bound Math & Science (UBMS) program at Fitchburg State University held a Skate to Success Event this afternoon at the Wallace Civic Center. The event provided the opportunity to meet our UBMS students and thank you for helping to make this program successful.

Local High School Seniors enrolled in our Fitchburg State University Upward Bound Math & Science Program (UBMS) met on campus for a College Search/Scholarship Workshop. Our UBMS staff enlightened the students on various scholarship attainment strategies to aid in their college search and acceptance.
