Harrod Lecture: Patricia Arend

Bio/Chem Club Clean Up Rindge for Earth Day

Future Falcons Academy Week - Becoming a Police Officer at Fitchburg State University

Fitchburg State University Police Program  Police Academy Director Alexandra Wysocki and  three of our Police Program students entertained the Future Falcons in the Wallace Gym at the McKay Elementary School. The students got a chance to learn a bit about how important physical fitness, stamina, and cooperation is in the effort to become a police officer. The session ended with Director Wysocki and student inviting the Young Falcons to share what qualities they would appreciate in these soon-to-be officers.

Around Campus - Intro to Studio Art

Students in Intro to Studio Art class learned about making a pinch pot in the Conlon Fine Arts building. This course provides a hands-on introduction to drawing, painting, and sculpture. The course emphasizes the fundamentals of each studio discipline, and will also explore the expressive potential of visual art: how the various elements of drawing, painting, and sculpture can be used to embody very different feelings and ideas. Freddy on the Quad - President Donna Hodge's Investiture and Installation Reminder

Visions 2025 - Reception & Gallery Opening

Yesterday, Visions, a juried honors exhibit of the Communications Media Department, held its annual reception and Gallery Opening in the Hammond Hall Gallery. A Film & Video Screening in Weston Auditorium took place later in the evening. Thank you to the alumni, jurors, Communications Media faculty, students, and staff. The Exhibit will run until August 1, 2025.
