Early in February, Criminal Justice Program Professor Michael S. McCutcheon helped the 7th Fitchburg State University Police Program's Recruit Officer Course (ROC) review for their recruits officer class comprehensive exam, which they must pass it to be eligible for the Police Academy. All of our recruits passed and will be attending the Fitchburg State University Police Program Academy in May.

Students in Andrea Olmstead's Ceramics class put some final touches on their projects during ceramics class in Conlon Fine Arts. This course introduces students to the basic methods and techniques of designing and creating with clay as a medium. Yesterday afternoon, the always popular therapy dogs paid a visit to campus. Students got a little break from classes, tests and projects by spending a little time with Daisy, and Mok in the Falcon Hub. Students in Biology and Chemistry Professor Dr. Sean Rollins' Medical Microbiology course performed various procedures in today's labs in the Antonucci Science Complex. The course serves as an introduction to the biology of major groups of micro-organisms including bacteria, viruses, protozoa, and fungi. Emphasis is placed on their relationship to man as agents of infectious diseases. In the laboratory principles and practices of aseptic techniques and diagnostic identification and culture of disease entities are explored.
