Journalism student Zoe Chrisostomides recently took the stage in the Honors Conference Room to present her powerful honors thesis: "Rebuilding Local News Through Public Access Television."

It was a full house in support of Zoe’s hard work, which was informed by her experience at Fitchburg Access Television (FATV) producing the show North Central News. Faculty, teammates, and several special guests from FATV were there to support her.

Zoe’s research highlights the vital role public access plays in the modern media ecosystem. We were honored to have FATV Executive Director Nathan Glenny and Director of Community Media Ellen Daoust in attendance to see firsthand how our students are rethinking the media landscape.
