Today ,the 7th Fitchburg State University Police Program's Recruit Officer Course (ROC) are visiting Fitchburg District Court, where they will sit in on a criminal session. The program appreciates Clerk Magistrate Carol Vittorioso and Presiding Justice Christopher LoConto for allowing them to visit the court. Also appreciated was the time they both spent welcoming the Recruits, answering their questions, offering advice and breaking down what they were going to witness in the criminal session.
Also, thank you to Chief Probation Officer Rebecca Ramirez and Asst. Chief of Security Brian Field for their time as well. This was an invaluable learning experience for the 7th to not only watch how the court works and what happens in a criminal session, but to also spend some quality behind the scenes time with both the Presiding Justice and the Clerk Magistrate.
