Students in Biology and Chemistry Professor Steven Fiedler's General Chemistry II Lab work on an assignment in the Antonucci Science Complex. In this course, topics include chemical, acid/base, and solubility equilibria and chemical kinetics.

Career Services and Advising Center  Assoc. Director of Internship Coordination and Employee Relations Susan Beddes recently held an internship information session for Business Majors in Percival Hall. School of Business and Technology Professor Renee Scapparone was on hand to answer any specialized questions the students may have pertaining to their particular field of study. 

The university's Biology Club recently held a Valentine Crafts session int e Antonucci Science Complex. 

As part of our yearlong Community Read of Sonia Purnell's A Woman of No Importance:  The Untold Story of the American Spy Who Helped Win World War II, faculty, students, staff and community members gathered in the  Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library for a discussion of the book and a presentation on prosthetics. The subject of the book, Virginia Hall, whom in 1942 the Gestapo sent out an urgent transmission regarding: “She is the most dangerous of all Allied spies. We must find and destroy her.” had a prosthetic leg. Prior to English Studies Professor Kisha Tracy leading the discussion, Clinical Manager Max Nigrosh MSOP, CP of Hanger Clinic discussed the history of, and demonstrated various types of prosthetics. 

 Communications Media & Digital Media Innovation (DMI) Professor J.J. Sylvia IV recently brought his Introduction to Digital Humanities course to the Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library Archives as part of class project.

Students in Theater Professor Mary Vreeland's  Acting for the Camera course, an intensive scene study course for the advanced student actor, spent their class time getting comfortable in front of the camera and find their "good side."

Students in Communications Media Professor Kyle Moody's Introduction to Social Media course discussed the timely topic of the Super Bowl and its ramifications on various social media platforms.

Students currently enrolled in an internship participate in a monthly seminar Criminal Justice (CJ) held by Assistant Professor Eileen Kirk.  At this recent seminar, Career Services and Advising Center Director Lindsay Carpenter Connors coached students in job search and interview tips - at times acting as the interviewer.
