Homecoming Weekend: Carnival

After yesterday afternoon's pep rally to kick off Homecoming Weekend, Ross St. Parking Lot was transformed for a Carnival. Homecoming is our annual celebration that brings our entire Falcon community together for an amazing fall weekend and the opening was amazing, we celebrated our athletic teams, and everyone enjoyed  rides, games, food and more!

Expanding the Rhine-Waal University-Fitchburg State University Partnership

Around Campus - Chemistry for Health Science

Students in Biology and Chemistry Professor Billy Samulak's Chemistry for Health Science lab worked on an experiment in the Antonucci Science Complex. This course is designed specifically for nursing and exercise sports majors and will include a study of selected topics from general chemistry, organic chemistry and biochemistry. (This course will not fulfill the requirements of the biology major or healthy professional programs such as medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, pharmacy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and physician assistant).

Students' Stories - Board of Trustees

After introductions from Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs Franca Barricelli and Director of International Education Nelly Wadsworth at today's Board of Trustees meeting, three of our students who took part in our International Education programs shared their experiences with the Board members. Sky Goba (Communications faculty-led program in Greece), Kervins Blanc (Peace Studies faculty-led program in Ireland), and Gabriel Rivera (semester abroad at the University of Valencia, Spain) were interviewed by Matthew Bruun, Executive Director of Communications and Public Affairs.

German Perspectives on the US Elections

CSA: Major and Minor Discovery Fair

This afternoon, the Fitchburg State University Career Services and Advising Center sponsored a Campus Wide Career Fair in the Hammond Main Lounge. This gave students an opportunity to explore a diverse range of majors and minors for every interest. Students were able to engage with faculty members and current students who shared their experiences and insights, offering a deeper understanding of each program's unique offerings, career prospects, and real-world applications.

Annual Science Symposium

This is an event where the science faculty, and students, present posters on their research to get students interested and involved in the sciences.
