This course studies mass production theory, systems and procedures in metalworking which includes engineering design and leads to prototype development.

The Visionaries in Engineering and Technology Speaker Series will welcome Irmgard Buder, PhD., professor for renewable energy and electro mobility and head of the
degree program in environment and energy at the University of Applied Sciences Rhine-Waal in Kleve, Germany. Dr. Buder will discussed what options exist for energy storage, latest developments, as well as bottlenecks.

This morning, the Career Services and Advising Center and the Engineering Technology Department held a Lunch & Learn Engineering Technology Employer Roundtable event. Representatives from AIS Inc., FM Global, Gorman Richardson Lewis Architects (GRLA), and Walsh Brothers were on hand to network with students in Conlon Hall. Networking events serve as an excellent opportunity for our students to connect with potential employers, learn about different career paths, and gain valuable insights into the current job market.

Our Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) student club, who won fourth place at the MIT IEEE MicroMouse (Robot) competition in October, received their team, and individual certificates yesterday afternoon. Dean of The School of Business and Technology Dr. Jennifer Hanselman and Engineering Technology Professor Hong Yu presented students with the certificates.

Included on the agenda was an opportunity for students ask these industry professionals questions, and to present their work to the partners in attendance.
