Navigating the college application process can be difficult, especially if you are hoping to transfer. Policies can differ from school to school and there are so many options. This is why we created Transfer Tuesdays at Fitchburg State.
We've designed these sessions for transfer students to discuss everything, from completing your application to enrolling. We will discuss application requirements, the transfer credit process, transition/advising, and how you register for courses for your first semester. We'll answer any questions you may have so that you feel confident about applying to Fitchburg State. Representatives from Admissions, MassTransfer, and the Registrar's Office will be in attendance. Stick around for an optional tour of the campus and see all that our campus has to offer.One of the most important questions for transfer students is, “Will my credits transfer in?” Our Registrar’s Office conducts an official credit evaluation for all admitted transfer students. This evaluation will show how your courses transfer in and what courses remain to fulfill your degree requirements. Every transfer student has different circumstances. We'll discuss how this process applies to you when you attend a Transfer Tuesday.
