Shea Pugh earned widespread admiration during her time at Fitchburg State, including receiving one of its highest honors the Graduate Student Leadership Award.
Pugh believes the best teachers care about their students’ lives beyond the classroom. She brings enthusiasm, care and compassion to her work, demonstrating a special talent helping students who require some additional guidance and support. Here’s how your advisor can work for you:We all know the frustration of only being able to plan your schedule one semester in advance. It’s difficult figuring out how you will fit your classes into your everyday life when you don't have all the information you need. Well, all of that has changed. Recently Fitchburg State has adopted future scheduling. This means you can now view course schedules up to one full year in advance.

It’s hard to imagine that things could have been done any other way than they are now. We forget what life was like without the internet, computers, and cell phones. How did people actually work? Well we did and compared to how things are now…....you have it so easy!

With technology constantly changing, schools are investing in technology to help improve and enhance student achievement. With the common core standards, educators need to ensure that students can demonstrate what they know, and not just "know." When implemented properly, these technologies can produce significant gains by boosting engagement with interactive learning especially with at-risk students.

Nazi empire building and American expansion: similarities & differences

During the Second World War, the United States fought against and helped to defeat Nazi Germany. For years afterwards, the fact that Nazi Germany in many ways stood as the antithesis of the United States, obscured certain historical parallels between these two radically different states.
