A lot of people who are considering graduate school are held up by the idea of taking the GREs. The Graduate Record Examination (GRE), is a standardized test that was, until recently, an admissions requirement for most graduate schools in the United States.
In recent years, a growing number of graduate schools in the United States no longer require GREs as part of the admission process. As of January 2017, Fitchburg State is among the universities that waive the GRE requirement in graduate admissions. The university realizes there are other ways to measure merit and performance. You can find more information about our graduate programs here. Admissions requirements for each program are listed on their academic page.
