Fitchburg State has added future scheduling as well, which allows you to review course schedules at least one semester ahead to meet your degree requirements. Don’t worry about second guessing the next time that required course will come up in rotation. Take one stress out of your life by planning ahead.
Flexible advising options
Gone are the days of waiting in the hallway to catch your advisor for the one hour a day he or she has available for advising. You now have options. While you can still come to campus if you like face to face appointments, you can also call or email with your advisor making this process a lot easier.
Online and evening course schedules
No more rushing in at 8am in the snow because it is the only way you can take a class. Graduate and Continuing Education courses can now be taken online and hybrid (which is online with only a few on campus meetings). These options make it a lot easier for students to incorporate school in to their day to day lives. Still enjoy the on campus experience? Take an evening or summer institute course.
Financing options
Say goodbye to completing the cumbersome FAFSA paper form, this can now be done online and it’s a lot easier. Beauty of this is the information saves so if you need to complete it again the following year, you only need to update what has changed. There are also additional options like the GCE Payment Plan and graduate assistantships to make paying for your education a lot more manageable.
