It's summertime!

Well, almost. At least it's spring! And with this past winter that we had to deal with, who isn't looking forward to a little sun and warmth?

We certainly are looking forward to warmer weather at Fitchburg State!

Even though the spring semester is still underway, we're gearing up for our two summer sessions (May 26 - June 26 and July 6 - August 7). For those of you who are from the area or are sticking around for the summer, we have plenty of classes to choose from to help you get ahead in your studies.

  • 1- and 2-week graduate courses/institutes designed specifically for educators and scheduled after the July 4th holiday
  • graduate and undergraduate courses in a wide variety of areas, including Creative Arts, Biology, Earth Science, Education, English, History, Special Education and more!
  • online, hybrid and on campus options
  • convenient schedules
There's plenty to choose from whether you're a day student, evening student, or a graduate student.

Need to get your health and fitness credits and don't want to sweat for 15 weeks? Do it in 5 weeks instead!

Heading home? Planning on spending time at the beach? You can still take one of our many online classes wherever you are. The online Blackboard app lets you participate in classroom discussions and turn in assignments wherever you have Internet access. (And remember... if you're out in the sun, wear sunscreen!)

Whatever you decide to do this summer, enjoy yourselves! And if you do join us for the summer semesters, we'll be here waiting for you.

Registration begins on April 6. Don't miss out!
