Although I began my career as a physical therapist, I soon realized that my heart was in teaching.  I began by teaching students with severe disabilities, and I have been at Fitchburg State for more than 20 years.   Preparing undergraduate and graduate students to become great teachers is my passion.

At Fitchburg State, we have many Special Education Graduate Programs - for those interested in teaching students with moderate and/or severe disabilities, as well as individuals who want to learn about special education without seeking a teaching license.
