Starting this summer, the graduate Counseling program is launching a new accelerated sequence for their Counseling Masters programs, concentrating in either Clinical Mental Health Counseling or School Counseling. This plan of study will allow students who start in the summer semester to complete the entire 60 credit program, including the year-long internship/practicum, in a little over two years. Students take 4 courses per term on average, which are primarily offered in the evenings, with some online and hybrid courses.

The Counseling program will continue to support part-time study as well, in which students complete their degree in three to six years, and work with an advisor to develop a personalized plan of study. Students can start in the Fall, Spring, or Summer semesters. Admissions are processed on a rolling basis. In addition, students are allowed to take up to 12 credits in the program before being formally admitted.
