The master's degree program is designed for students from various backgrounds who are committed to enhancing their existing knowledge, earning advanced degrees, preparing for advanced professional positions, or embarking upon new career paths. In order to apply for admission into the M.S. in Computer Science program, applicants must have the equivalent of a 4-year bachelors degree.
The master's program in computer science is composed of both fundamental and advanced courses. Fundamental courses are core courses which provide a solid theoretical foundation for advanced study. The courses are offered both online and on campus. On campus courses are mainly offered in the evenings with some day classes during the summer. Most students finish in two years, but students have up to six years for completion.
Degree candidates have the opportunity to study a variety of topics such as object-oriented systems development, graphics, networks and database systems. Our program provides our students the opportunity to develop marketable technical skills for the quickly evolving information-based society.
