With our new Virtual Career Center, career resources are at your fingertips 24 hours a day. This site offers tailored content that allows you to search for opportunities, build experience and gain feedback on your own time. You still have access to virtual and in person appointments through the Career Services and Advising Center covering a variety of career-related topics as well. However, we encourage you to check out the online resources available to graduate students:
- Handshake: Find job and internship opportunities tailored to your interests, preferred location and experience level. Handshake is the largest student-focused job platform and contains thousands of opportunities with top employers.
- Quinncia: This new tool gives specific feedback on your resume in order to help you succeed with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). There is also a virtual interview feature which prepares you for a video interview experience.
- Forage: Build experience through micro-internship projects. These are projects set up by major companies and organizations, such as JP Morgan Chase, KPMG or Pfizer. They give you an idea of the work interns at these organizations complete and help you build skills that can be applied to your career.
- Career Shift: Many jobs aren’t published on public job boards. Networking uncovers “hidden” job opportunities and connects you to professionals in your field who can support your job search. Career Shift allows you to create a target list of companies based on your interests and industry and easily find networking contacts at target companies.

Don’t forget, we are open for appointments during the summer! Our academic and career advisors are available to meet with you, either in person or virtually, to work on your resume, plan for your job search, or to explore career paths.
