Fitchburg State University Hosts Mental Health & Law Enforcement Conference- Part 2

Yesterday, Fitchburg State University is hosting the 11th Annual  Mental Health & Law Enforcement Conference. This day-long event is designed for Police, First Responders, Emergency Service providers, Department of Mental Health, NAMI, Justice System partners, and other interested parties to come together and focus on mental health issues in their respective professions.

After opening remarks and information sessions, awards were given to individuals who exemplified the partnership between the mental health and law enforcement. Captain Harry Hess of the Fitchburg Police Department was one of the awardees.

After lunch, a series of in-depth discussions on various conference themed topics were held at various locations on campus.
