Our Education seniors were treated to a Senior Send-Off at the McKay Campus School! After walking through a high-energy cheering gauntlet, they entered a room transformed into the world of Miss Rumphius.. Miss Rumphius, written and illustrated by Barbara Cooney, is a classic children's book about Alice Rumphius, who fulfills her childhood dreams of traveling, living by the sea, and making the world more beautiful by scattering lupine seeds, earning her the nickname "the Lupine Lady".
Each graduate left with their own copy of the classic book—a reminder that as they head into their own classrooms, they are exactly the ones who will make the world a more beautiful place.
