The Game Changers Program, a Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Program (COIL) program, has been incorporated into Assistant Professor Karen DeAngelis of the university’s Education Departments' First Year Experience (FYE) seminar. This virtual exchange is offered to Fitchburg State University students through a partnership with the Pathways Institute for Negotiation, funded through the Stevens Initiative and sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. Students in the course participate in an intercultural learning experience with students in Israel and other universities throughout the United States. Completion of this virtual exchange program provides Fitchburg State students with access to the U.S. Department of State's Alumni Network.
