# Around Campus - Intro to Film and Video

Students in [Professor Robert Harris'](https://www.fitchburgstate.edu/academics/faculty-profiles/robert-harris) Intro to [Film and Video](https://www.fitchburgstate.edu/academics/programs/filmvideo-production-concentration-communications-media-bs) class were all over campus this morning completing an interview assignment. Intro to Film & Video is the introductory course in the Film & Video sequence where students are exposed to the basics of production and post-production for both digital and photochemical media. Topics include understanding and using visual language, camera operation, understanding the film and video production process, basic editing, production crew structure and interpersonal communication. Students shoot and edit both 16mm film and digital video.
