Students in Communication Media Professor Kevin McCarthy's Audio Production for Film and Video elective familiarized themselves with the equipment they will be using this semester. Audio Production for Film & Video is a specialized elective that covers audio acquisition for field and studio production. The course places emphasis on developing best practices for production audio recording in both scripted and unscripted production environments. Students will strengthen techniques in recording dialogue, Sound Effects, Foley, and Voiceover – and apply these skillsets creatively in course projects. By the end of the course, the student will be able to capture the highest quality audio for integration into film or video productions.
