You're already an outstanding LPN in your field, but are you ready for more?LPN-to-BSN_225x225_102817

There are four main advantages to earning your BS in Nursing:
  1. Credentials to earn more money
According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), RNs earn $70,000 annually compared to LPNs $45,030. That's almost $25,000 more a year!
  2. Long term job security
RNs have the highest employment in healthcare occupations. According to the BLS, 61% of RNs work in hospitals compared to only 16% of LPNs.
  3. More options for positions and specializations
RNs can tailor their job to match their skills and interests as they progress in their career, while LPNs have less opportunity for specialization and advancement because they will always work under the supervision of other nurses.
  4. More opportunities for professional advancement
RNs can choose to advance their education even further by earning a Master of Science in Nursing. LPNs have a longer path toward more advancement considering they’ll need to first go back to school to become an RN.

Our LPN to BS in Nursing Bridge Program is designed to transition the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to the role of a baccalaureate prepared Registered Nurse. This program is unique as it spans both Graduate and Continuing Education (GCE) and day course schedules creating an accelerated curriculum. This approach allows students to attain their goals as quickly as possible as well as keeping them on a schedule that works with their career demands.

Graduates of this program are prepared to meet societal healthcare needs in a variety of settings with respect for diversity, social responsibility, and a commitment to excellence in nursing care.
